KidScape Productions Quest Improv Camp

$224.00

*** SPACE LIMITED – Max 25 Campers ***

This week-long day camp gives kids a space to explore improv and tabletop roleplaying games, all while applying skills associated with collaboration and problem solving. Tabletop roleplaying games use the power of improvisation to reinforce confidence and communication in a team through structured social encounters, exploration, and conflicts. These games, like Dungeons and Dragons and Escape from Dino Island, put players into the role of adventurers who need to work together in pursuit of a common goal; following rules for improvised storytelling and acting that produce memorable and impactful moments.

Some of the skills learned through acting, improvisation and role play include: verbal/nonverbal communication skills, creative thinking & problem solving, emotional understanding and regulation, empathy & compassion, quality & carry through, motivation & commitment, collaboration & teamwork, independent thinkers, time management skills, initiative, active listening, adaptability & flexibility, ability to work under pressure & personal discipline, leadership, forward thinking and fun!

Kidscape Productions uses research based applications in improvisation, role-play and professional theatre techniques. Our passion is to help participants hone in on team work, social awareness, emotional understanding and confidence in presenting.
