Spring Break Full Play ``Peter Pan``

Camp runs from 8:30am to 5:30pm. Material fee is included in price.

Peter Pan

Wendy and her siblings love to hear of Peter Pan’s adventures during his visits through the open window of the nursery. Then one night after Nana has taken his shadow and Wendy has sewn it back on, Peter Pan and Tinker Bell whisk the children off to Neverland to be part of the adventures. Wendy, John and Michael become friends with the Lost Boys and Princess Tiger Lily and Wendy becomes everyone’s mother. When the evil Captain Hook captures Wendy and the Lost Boys, Peter Pan comes to their rescue. Together with the ticking crocodile, Peter Pan puts Captain Hook in his place and returns the Darling children to their home.

Note: Pre-registration required. No walk-ins or drop-ins allowed for this specific camp. Backstage age requirement is 10 and older.

Spring Break One-Act Play Camp : Ages 6-17

Prerequisite:      Must be able to read, smile and like having fun while learning!

Max Students: 20

Jump in, make new friends while learning skills that work on and off the stage. This camp is a perfect experience for the beginning to advanced actor and offers campers the opportunity to work on lead roles in small groups.  The week will present the opportunity for campers to manage costumes, props, sets and makeup on their own!  Campers will have the opportunity to work on new or trending material such as Peter Pan, Beauty and then Beast, White Rabbit Red Rabbit, Neverland, Harry Hotter, Disney’s High school musical, Humor Games, Grease and more!  Music and movement may be included in select one-act plays! Ends in a free community performance on the final day!

Some of the skills learned through acting, improvisation and role play include: verbal/non verbal communication skills, creative thinking & problem solving, emotional understanding and regulation, empathy & compassion, quality & carry through, motivation & commitment, collaboration & teamwork, independent thinkers, time management skills, initiative, active listening, adaptability & flexibility, ability to work under pressure & flexibility, personal discipline, leadership, forward thinking, fun and OH OH SO MUCH MORE!

  • Get hands on with sets, props, costumes and makeup while studying a lead role.

Laugh a lot and make new friends while learning professional short form improve comedy! KidScape Productions curriculum was developed at Juilliard and Yale School of Drama and offers campers the opportunity to explore hidden talents, improve communication skills and ignite their imaginations. Camp ends in a free community performance on the final day at 1pm. KidScape Productions offers new games each camp/class, no experience is necessary and repeat students are encouraged to attend. Ages 6-16. Single day, drop-ins available ($50/day drop-in | $199 for the week with a one-time materials fee of $15 (pay materials fee directly to instructor at first day)

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory

Young Charlie Bucket can’t believe his luck when he finds the very last of Mr. Willy Wonka’s Golden Tickets inside his chocolate bar. He wins the trip of a lifetime, a magical tour around Mr. Wonka’s mysterious chocolate factory. Once inside, Charlie and the other four winners–Augustus Gloop, Veruca Salt, Violet Beauregarde, and Mike Teavee–witness amazing wonders: rainbow drops, lickable wallpaper, and even a chocolate waterfall. But what happens when the children, one by one, disobey Mr. Wonka?
