I, Addi Osentoski, am a current student at Damonte Ranch High School, where I’m enrolled in the Performing Arts Program, and I enjoy it a lot. This year I have performed at DRHS in Alice in Wonderland, Almost Maine, an ensemble piece The Serpent, and a self/peer written musical Potentially Famous. I also stage managed the DRHS Talent Show.  As well as performed in 15 Minute Hamlet at Reno Little Theater this year. The arts continue to help me grow in every aspect of my life everyday, and I am so happy to share that with the kids from Kidscape

Hello! My name is Angie Pena-Rivera and I was born in Los Angeles, California but raised in Reno, Nevada. I have worked with kids between the ages of two year olds to seventeen year olds for over twelve years now and enjoy every second of it. I gained most of my experience with kids through babysitting, being a Sunday school teacher, and being a youth leader at my local church. My passion for kids does not stop there since I am currently in school to become a Speech Pathologist and help kids with not only their speech but also confidence. Kidscape Productions is an amazing program that allows kids to come out of their comfort zone, gain confidence, and have great communication skills that will shape and mold them to be great human beings in this world and I am honored to be a part of this program.

Hey Everyone!! My name is Ashlea Kilgroe and I have lived in Reno my whole life. I graduated Reno High in 2010 with honors in Choir. I have worked with kids for as long as I can remember and have always had a passion for music and theater!! Working with KidScape makes all three of my passions come to life!! I know how important communication and confidence is and I want my students to stand tall and proud in their skin!! It took me far too long to be comfortable in my own. So this is where my passion and heart goes. Bringing self-confidence through fun and exciting games!!!!!

Hey! I’m Dlonra Pasao but I mostly go by “DJ”. I was born and raised in Reno, NV. I am new to improv, however I have done a lot of performing through choir and talent shows when I was younger. I have previous experience working with kids as I was a volunteer at an elementary school for their after school program. I plan to continue working with children through social work, which is what I am going to school for. For now, I am taking a brief break between semesters to do something new and I found that something new with Kidscape!

Hannah Sloan was born and raised in Reno, Nevada, apart from an eight-month adventure in The Hague, Netherlands. She has been singing and dancing since the age of three, and has been acting since the age of six. She has always been absolutely passionate about and in love with the performing arts. She has grown up around/taking care of children and has always had a passion for them. She is currently a college student, also working as a barista and a Jazzercise instructor, while also pursuing music with her band, being involved in local musical theatre, and volunteering for community events. She loves her family and friends and doing the best she can. She loves spreading smiles and happiness and love, and loves that Kidscape allows her to do that for our youth. Thank you.

Hi! My name is Jennifer, I was born and raised in Reno, Nevada. I have grown up around children pretty much all my life and know how important it is to have self confidence as a child. I’m also a licensed cosmetologist, so helping people feel great about themselves is something I’ve always enjoyed doing. I absolutely love how KidScape works with children of all ages and helps them gain the confidence and life skills that will help them succeed. I’m excited to be working with the KSP kids and to watch their transformations all through having fun and playing games!

Hey, I’m Lucy! I am originally from Huntsville TX but have been living here in Reno for more than 12 years. I am currently in a Health and Wellness company that helps others look and feel their very best. My biggest interest is on learning how to live a fulfilling life, while making an impact on this world with our actions. I strongly believe the skills and talents these kids will learn in Kidscape will shape their self confidence, help them think outside the box, give them the freedom of expression and best of all teach them to know themselves.
I believe a good self esteem is critical for everyone including children and teens. It makes a such a big difference on the way we handle all kinds of situations and the life path we choose to take. There is no better reward for me than knowing I can make a difference in someone’s life. I am not only here to teach, but to help the kids grow and make a difference in their lives.

My name is Maggie, but some of my friends call me “Drama Mama”. I’ve only been doing theatre for five years, but I think it’s the most magical thing! I graduated high school with top international honors, and I’ll be majoring in theatre this fall — one day I want to start my own theatre company! I truly believe in the power of theatre to teach confidence, teamwork and self-expression, so I’m thrilled to be helping children accomplish just that through Kidscape.

Hey it’s Mindy! I have lived in Reno for over five years, and have been with KidScape since 2009. I am a student at the Davidson Academy of Nevada, and I love playing music, especially guitar. I was a student at KidScape for four years prior to becoming an instructor, and the opportunities KSP has given me are tremendous. Thanks to the self confidence and presentation skills KidScape has taught me, I am able to appear in front of crowds with ease.

Hey! My name is Nicole Oliver.  I am an artist and a writer and have recently moved to Reno from Denver, Colorado. I am twenty-four years old and have a large family and a small group of tight knit friends. Spending time outside is of the utmost importance and I am grateful to live in a place where there is so much beauty. I’m not sure what I want to be when I grow up, but love having all my opportunities open. I love to learn and experience the world, and am very excited about the opportunity to help kids do the same.

Regina was a Singer, Dancer, Illusionist. She and her partner performed under the name Dexion, traveling all over the world with Greg Thompson Productions. She is grateful to be able to give back all the experience she has learned in being a professional performer.

Hi, my name is Susan! I’ve lived in Reno for three years and been a student of KidScape for almost as long. I’m a senior at McQueen High School and am actively involved in my school’s theatre program, having been in seven plays and currently working on three. Acting is my greatest joy and I’m so lucky to be able to teach it! KidScape helped bring me out of my shell, transforming me from a shy girl who never raised her hand for anything, to the loud, excited student I am today. Through teaching, I hope to help my students accomplish the same. Being confident in yourself is the greatest skill someone can have, and through KidScape, I can help students achieve this this through improv and acting!

Hi! My name is Tala Munsterman and I was born and raised in Reno. I have constantly been involved in theatre since I was seven years old and found my way to Kidscape Productions in 2009. After three years as a student with Kidscape Productions I became an instructor in 2012 and quickly fell in love with teaching! I have worked with children my entire adult life but nothing can compare to combining my passions of theatre and children. After taking a brief, two year hiatus and moving to Indiana I am very excited to be back to teach for the 2016 winter break! I cannot wait to see all of my returning students and to meet new ones!

Hello! My name is Tessa Parker and I have been acting in theatre since I was five years old. I go to Damonte Ranch High School, and  I am a part of the wonderful Preforming Arts Center there! I’m so excited to be working with Kidscape Productions because I want to share the passion (that has completely taken over my life) with kids that may discover the same love for acting that I did!

Hi, My name is Tyler Hébert. Nestled in the beautiful high Sierras in Reno is where I was born and raised. I have a deep adoration for the performing arts and have been involved in them my whole life in one way or another. I am really into exercising and living a healthy and happy life. I am currently in school to become a personal trainer so I can help others achieve the gift of living a healthy life. I also love music and play a few instruments; guitar is favorite! I believe that having confidence and the tools for communicating with others is key in being able to embrace who you are. That is why I think KidScape is so groovy! They provide these tools and more in a fun, exciting way that has an out of the box approach. It’s time to greet each new day with my feet on the ground, a smile on my face, and my head in the clouds.
